First Steps

Log into your User account

User Account Login

Scan the barcode on the back of your employee ID or manually enter the number above it. You can find the initial password in the letter we sent you.Example Barcode Scan

Change Password

Please change the initial password to a personal password first!

Password requirements:

  • At least 12 characters
  • Upper and lowercase letters
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1 special character

Self-Checkout

Select self-checkout

Self-Checkout

Scan your ID barcode or manually enter the number above it, then enter your personal password.

Self-Checkout Login

Scan the barcode of the book you wish to borrow or manually enter the alphanumeric sequence above the barcode, e.g., ESTG123456789.

Confirm the checkout by clicking the Submit button.

Self-Checkout Instructions

The loan period is 60 days and can be renewed afterward.

Renew Items

You can view your borrowed items in the Summary section of your account.

To renew, select the desired items and click the renewal buttons below the table. Renewals are only possible one week before the due date.

Renewals

The maximum loan period is 1 year—after that, no further online renewals are possible.

Return Items

Items can be returned via the book return box in the library, level 3.

Information

You are personally responsible for your user account

Books, which are given or lent to colleagues, have to be rebooked on the particular user account. Only this way, the actuality of your account is guaranteed.

Other Sections:

  • Personal Data: View and request changes to your personal data.
  • Loan History: View your complete loan history and search within it.
  • Acquisition Suggestions: View and track the status of your acquisition suggestions.
  • Notifications: Manage email notifications for loans, returns, or due items.
  • Lists: The “Public Lists” tab displays new library acquisitions. You can also manage personal lists.

Create Personal Lists

You can create personal lists, share them with others, or export citations of stored literature.

Lists can be populated with entries from any search and are permanently saved.

Search results can be added to the basket. Entries added to the basket are only saved for the duration of the session.
